Therapy for when you are trying to find your way back to yourself.
I work with adults who are navigating loss, periods of overwhelm, and profound internal shifts. This often happens after life has changed in ways their nervous system has not fully caught up with yet.
Nice to meet you
Hi, I’m Amy (she/her).
Thank you for being here. It takes a lot of courage to put yourself first (especially if you’re not used to it). My work as a therapist is primarily relational and paced with care for the nervous system.
I tend to work with people who are sensitive, neurodivergent and longing for something more out of this life. I do not approach therapy as a process of fixing or correcting. I see it more as a space of slowing down, listening more closely to the messages of our body, and rebuilding trust in ourselves over time.
There’s no need to do it alone anymore.
How I Can Help
You might be here because:
Your mind rarely slows down, and rest does not feel restful
You spend a lot of time in your head, and find it hard to come back to the present
You feel burnt out, emotionally flat, or disconnected from yourself
Life looks “fine” on the outside, but it doesn’t feel that way internally
You’re navigating significant changes in relationships, work, identity or family life
You feel like the world is ending, and like you’re spiralling out of control
If any of this feels familiar, you do not have to face it on your own. We can start where you are and take things one step at a time.
My Approach
I approach therapy from the belief that symptoms and coping strategies make sense in context.
Rather than viewing people as broken or needing to be “fixed,” I understand distress as a response to what someone has lived through, adapted to, or carried for a long time.
My role is not to fix or direct, but to offer attuned support, thoughtful reflection, and a collaborative space where insight and change can unfold at a sustainable pace.
What to Expect
A calm, confidential space where you can speak freely
Sessions that feel supportive, not overwhelming
A therapist who listens deeply and meets you where you are
Time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with yourself
Online & In-Person Therapy
I offer both online and in-person sessions in the North End of Halifax, with the hope of offering flexibility for your life.
Whether you’re fitting sessions around work, family, or need the comfort of your own space, we’ll find something that works for you.
If You’re Curious About Therapy
A free consultation is a way to connect, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work. There’s no pressure to decide anything right away or commit beyond our first conversation.
You’re welcome to reach out whenever the timing feels right for you.
